Hammerheads
Swim Team
The West Hillandale Hammerheads is open to swim club members ages 5 to 18. The swim team focuses on creating a positive atmosphere where children can develop swimming skills, build confidence, and form friendships. We are a charter member of the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) and compete against other neighborhood pools.
Pup Team
The Hammerheads sponsor the “Pup Team,” a group for children three and older who are learning to swim. Pup Team swimmers participate in swim classes led by members of the swim team. They also get the opportunity to "race" in swim meets accompanied by an older swim team buddy.

The West Hillandale Hammerheads swim team holds social activities weekly during the season.

Over the years hundreds of kids have been part of our swim team family and many have earned a spot on the record board.
Swim Lessons
You Can Learn to Swim instructors have been providing swim lessons to WHSC members since 2015. Private lessons are available for members ages three years and up. Registration will be open through YouCanLearnToSwim.com beginning in May.
